Powder Coating
Special care is taken to protect any areas not requiring paint such as bolts or threaded components with heat resistant tape, caps and plugs. We measure the blast profile and coating thickness and use high-temperature caulking to seal seams and prevent corrosion. Products are then hung on racks and rolled into the coating chamber where we apply the paint via an electrostatic process. The powder is charged as it passes through the gun, causing it to wrap around the grounded parts ensuring consistent coverage without runs, even in hard to reach places. Our standard powder contains UV inhibitors, to prevent fading.
After coating, the products are rolled into our 2 million BTU industrial oven for baking and curing to provide a tough finish that won’t peel, crack, chip or fade – ensuring your products look as good in the years to come as they do the day they leave our factory.
Our stringent quality control procedures at every stage of the blasting and powder coating process give your products a superior finish every time. We offer a durable, industrial-grade coating in a full range of powder colours and will stock your colours to ensure a timely turnaround.
